Os programas de materiovigilância são concebidos para examinar, acompanhar e impedir a recorrência de efeitos negativos provocados pela utilização de dispositivos médicos.Na Índia, a delaminação da espuma de silicone para redução do ruído e a possibilidade de resultados falsos são as principais razões pelas quais os dispositivos médicos são recolhidos. Apenas um pequeno número de produtos foi recolhido em 2020. Em comparação com 2020, foram recolhidos muitos produtos em 2021. Em 2022, foram recolhidos menos produtos.
