Food is defined as a solid substance whose mission is essentially to satisfy hunger and contribute to nutrition in order to survive. However, food is part of social coexistence and of the characteristics and customs of a population. In other words, a good meal reflects the state of health, the development environment and finally the assimilation of nutrients. Guerrero is a state of diversity represented by 7 regions with different customs and traditions. The northern region or zone has a mostly warm climate where a variety of products are harvested that exemplify the richness of Guerrero’s food. The intention of this book is to provide a healthy guide with a variety of products that can be found within the region to support the preparation of food without affecting its nutritional contribution.
