A contemporary romance about love, rivalry, and second chances, where one choice changes two brothers’ lives forever.Paul and Lucas had grown up together on a cider-apple farm alongside the river Rance in Brittany in north-west France.Paul was the elder, short, frail and cerebral. Traditionally he should have made his career on the farm and later inherited it, but he wasn’t strong enough for that.So his younger brother Lucas joined their father on the farm, and Paul aimed for a career in business. But he didn’t find it easy to pick the right career or get the right qualifications. When he finally obtained the right position, he had a lot to learn before he could make a success of it.In contrast Lucas was tall and fit with a preference for the outdoors and farming. He was a shrewd operator but nevertheless he couldn’t see how to ensure a future for himself or the farm. But then the two brothers both fell in love with the same woman. That was what was needed to jolt both brother’s futures into their full potential.
