Il libro intitolato 'Trattamenti psicologici dell’ADHD' descrive gli effetti di due tecniche terapeutiche, tra cui il rinforzo differenziale dei comportamenti incompatibili (DRI) e l’automonitoraggio dell’attenzione (SM), sui comportamenti distrattivi degli studenti con ADHD. È stato utilizzato un disegno a base multipla su singoli soggetti tra i partecipanti. I partecipanti allo studio erano 8 studenti delle scuole elementari con diagnosi di ADHD, selezionati da due istituti scolastici specializzati nell’istruzione speciale. I risultati sono stati analizzati mediante analisi visiva dei punti dati (livello e tendenza) nelle fasi sperimentali e sono stati discussi gli effetti di queste tecniche di trattamento sugli studenti con ADHD.
