Tides of Honest Hearts

On the churning waters of the channel, Bastien Warren and Caspian have built a life in the shadows. For Bastien, the roaring engines of The Meridian serve as a mechanical sanctuary, a place where his love for the quiet island farmer can remain a private, precious secret. But as corporate rot threatens to sink the ferry and a blackmailer’s lens captures their most intimate moments, their hidden sanctuary becomes a cage. To save the ship and each other, they must decide if their love is strong enough to survive the harsh light of a truth they never intended to share. Above deck, Saskia Lindqvist lives by the rulebook, a sentinel of steel who lets no one behind her emotional bulkheads. Her world is upended by Magistrate Ginevra Kingscote, a woman trapped in a hollow, high-society marriage and a performative life of duty. What begins as a clash of status and safety protocols sparks a dangerous, undeniable fire. Amidst emergency drills and manufactured disasters, the icy Magistrate and the stern deckhand find a vulnerability in one another that neither expected, forcing them to choose between the safety of their rigid roles and the terrifying freedom of a life lived together. As a violent conspiracy threatens to tear their community apart, these four souls find themselves anchored by the very hearts they once tried to hide. It is no longer just about saving a ferry or exposing a corporate crime; it is a battle for the right to love openly in a world designed to keep them separate and silent. Through storms and sabotage, they will learn that the only way to truly weather the tide is to stand together, trading their secrets for a future where they are finally free to sail their own course.
