It is the story of a man who ignored his local team’s rise from Division 2 obscurity to twice champions of Europe. It uses a variety of texts, authors and genres to produce some of the stories of the outstanding contributions that Those Forest Men have made to the history of Nottingham Forest Football Club. It is a book with Forest fans at its heart and a heart for Forest fans. They are the only fans in the world who once had every dream come true and then went back to living one long slow nightmare.
