This book is a philosophical essay written in free verse. It comprises a progressive collection of poems organised into seven chapters. The author has titled it: ’The Great Ones of the World’. In it, he speaks of the greatness experienced in everyday life through the tasks we undertake. This obligation is lived out between two states: that of acceptance and that of indifference towards oneself in relation to others. These great beings are recognisable by what they do in visible silence; a silence born of humility. They possess traits that are hidden from view yet of great significance. They live. They grow eternally. They fight for a more sustainable society. They are role models, monuments of history. They are to be emulated. To discover them, and to walk alongside them, would be our enduring dream. An invitation. It is intended to help overturn certain anti-values that are eating away at our current society. This tool! A bridge-like structure that can enable everyone to reinvent the structures of their organisations. It is to establish, with a visionary outlook, the best possible performance and a history that will never fade. A reality firmly rooted in the pursuit of progress through work.
