Abigail Piper fled New York after a gang threatened her and Charlie’s lives. Leaving Charlie was the hardest decision she ever had to make. Her world completely turned upside down after her father’s death. After years of heartache Abbie finally made a life for herself in Connecticut with her aunt and family. Abbie hears her problems are solved in New York because the main ring leader of the gang stepped down. Abigail isn’t sure about returning to New York because she is afraid of running into Charlie again. She hasn’t moved on because she couldn’t handle any other man touching her body. She figured Charlie moved on to be with someone better and more deserving of his love. As fate would have it, Abbie is forced to return to New York to fight once again. This time she is fighting for the little guy instead of against him. An accidental run in with Charlie brings life to Abbie’s cold, numb heart. Abbie wants to try again except this time Charlie is unwilling and preoccupied. Will Abbie and Charlie rekindle the fire that once burned bright? Is the gang really out of the picture? Will Abbie ever face the ring again? Read on to find out.
