The author relays these through a series of personal experiences prior to, and throughout the years of her walk with God. She is a professor of nursing and the president and founder of Battered Women and Challenged Teens Ministries (BWCT). She is an active member of Nassau Tabernacle of Praise in Elmont, New York. God has given her a burden for the ministry of women and teens who are broken, hurt and abused. She currently resides in Springfield Gardens, New York with her daughter, Ayisha Natasha Jackson.
