The New World Order In Action shows that the New World Order (NWO) of neoliberal globalization is neither an occult conspiracy nor the result of actions of some 'shock doctors' etc. In fact, the wars (Yugoslavia, Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya, Syria and lately Ukraine), which have led to millions of dead, maimed and displaced, as well as the economic violence, which has led to even more millions of impoverished people all over the world, are due to the activities of a Transnational Elite. This is the informal network of the elites, based mainly in the G7 countries, that administer the NWO, via control of the world economic and politico-military institutions, (IMF, World Bank, EU, European Central Bank, NATO, UN and so on), as well as the global media, which set the agenda of the 'world community.' The function of the Transnational Elite is to facilitate the full integration of every country in the world into the NWO of neoliberal globalization, which implies the phasing out of their economic and national sovereignty. This integration is usually achieved through economic violence, and only exceptionally through military violence. It was in fact the emergence and rapid expansion of Transnational Corporations (TNCs), a few hundred of which today control the bulk of global revenues, which has initially led to an informal opening and liberalization of markets, later on institutionalized by Thatcherism and Reaganomics. This development, together with the decay of the labor and socialist movements in the aftermath of de-industrialization in the West, signaled the collapse of social democracy and the rise of neoliberal globalization. Therefore, neoliberalism is not just an ideology, but rather the inevitable outcome of a capitalist globalization based on TNCs, which could only be neoliberal, i.e., deregulation, privatization, and a free-market playing field for the TNC's to compete without any restrictions, whether in international trade or domestic social policy. Thus austerity policies are not the cause of the present crisis, as the globalist 'Left' believes, they are simply a symptom of this globalization. The intellectual failure of the Left to grasp the real significance of neoliberal globalization led to its political bankruptcy and the rise of a neo-nationalist movement in Europe, which is embraced by most of the victims of globalization, particularly the working class that used to support the Left. Today's social struggle is no longer just a struggle for social liberation, as in the past, but also a struggle for national liberation. This implies a struggle for the creation of a new international community of sovereign and self-reliant peoples, as a precondition for any systemic change that would lead to a new form of internationalism inspired by the principles of solidarity and mutual aid, rather than the catastrophic principles of competitiveness and profit-making, as at present.
