Although old, much of the information contained within this volume is still very much relevant today and will prove a valuable resource for those with an interest in the subject. The chapters of this book include: ’Best Method of Breaking’, ’Value of Kind Treatment’, ’How to Harness’, ’Injured by Working too Young’, ’What the Mule can Endure’, ’Colour and Peculiar Habits’, ’Mexican Mules and Packing’, ’The Agricultural Committee’, ’Working Condition of Mules’, ’Spotted Mules’, ’Mule-Breeding’, etcetera. This text was originally published in 1869, and we are proud to republish it now complete with a new introduction.
