This book analyzes the (mis)uses of the Brazilian federal public fund and its implications for classes and class fractions in the 2011-2022 period, based on an examination of the executed budget and the federal subsidy policy. The research adopts a quantitative approach, using data from the General Union Budget (OGU), extracted from the SIGA Brasil platform, and the Union Subsidy Budget (OSU). The recent dynamics of the public fund have reinforced financialization and the regressivity of fiscal policy, restricting the financing of social policies and deepening the unequal appropriation of public resources.
