There were calls to tour the show through the United States and Europe as a symbol of Canadian culture. The Canadian Armed Forces Tattoo 1967 was the premiere event in Canada’s centennial year. While all the performers in the Tattoo were members of the military, they took to acting in their many scenes as if they were born to it.
