Astronomical phenomena are highlighted for their pertinence, with Zodiac signs receiving particular emphasis.The author was aware of a psychic presence in his own mind from a young age; he claimed that during childhood he made contact with the Brotherhood of Light, an organization consisting of advanced spiritual entities. Their otherworldly origins, and the knowledge they imparted, led Burgoyne to immigrate to the United States. He founded the Hermetic Brotherhood of Luxor, and his publications on subjects of the occult and the spiritual blossomed to achieve substantial recognition. He died in 1894, aged only thirty-nine.
