They are not taught that Christ is still our healer ('the Great Physician'-'Jehovah Rapha'). Exodus 15:26, MEV says 'For I am the LORD who heals you.' Jesus paid the price to heal you, along with the price for our sins. 'Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose [Jesus] stripes ye were healed.' (1 Peter 2:24, KJV)Laurie works as a Registered Nurse and believes that God uses doctors, medicines, surgeries, and treatments along with faith in God for healing. As God’s children, we have benefits in Christ. Psalm 103:2-3, NIV says, 'Praise the LORD, my soul, and forget not all His benefits- who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases.' It is her passion to pray for the sick and to teach Christians that God heals by faith in Him and His healing Word. Psalm 107:20, KJV says 'He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions.' Proverbs 4:22, KJV says God’s Word is 'life unto those who find them, and health to all their flesh.'
