He graduated from the Gregorian University in Rome with a Master’s degree in Philosophy, and a Ph.D. in foreign languages from the University of Western Ontario, Canada. In 1967, he came to the United States as college professor and taught in Kansas, Tennessee, and Ohio.         In the early 1970s, Faieta took his foreign language students on educational trips to Italy. Soon, many other people joined the trips. Faieta enjoyed it so much that conducting tours for adults became his full-time occupation.
