'I recently read the typewritten script of a soon to be published book. The author is Ralph Gordon, a gentleman from Union who knows how to put sentences on paper and hold the readers attention. Gordon’s approach to the subject (the civil rights era on the 1960s in Mississippi) is different from previously published books on the subject. He is not some omniscient writer looking at this subject from the outside.
