The Inheritance of Money

You were not born into scarcity. You were born into abundance. Somewhere along the way, you forgot. The Inheritance of Money is not a book about budgeting, investing, or working harder. It is the book that goes underneath all of that - to the place where the real decisions about money were made, long before you were old enough to make conscious ones.Between the ages of four and fourteen, most people take a series of silent vows about money. They take them watching their parents argue in the kitchen. They take them deciding, wordlessly, never to become like the adults around them. They take them in a hundred small moments that the conscious mind forgets and the nervous system never does. Those vows have been running their finances ever since. This book identifies the vows, breaks them, and replaces them with something that actually works.Drawing on the public domain teachings of Florence Scovel Shinn, Russell Conwell, Charles Haanel, Marcus Aurelius, Lao Tzu, and the ancient Hermetic tradition, The Inheritance of Money walks the reader through the three movements of financial transformation. First, the recognition of the unconscious beliefs that have been keeping the bank account exactly where it is. Second, the dismantling of the childhood vows that installed those beliefs. Third, the inhabitation of a new identity - one in which receiving, giving, and holding money all become natural expressions of a self that knows its own worth.Inside these pages the reader will discover why the bank account has been showing the same number for years and what that number is actually reporting about the inner life. They will find the specific patterns - the set point, the recurring collapse, the self-sabotage, the constant emergency - and understand exactly which belief is producing each one. They will learn why the universe has been trying to deliver abundance and why something inside them has been returning it to sender. The inheritance was never taken. It has been waiting. The key is finally in hand. For readers of Florence Scovel Shinn, Wallace D. Wattles, James Allen, and Neville Goddard.
