The primary purpose of this study was to determine the impact of the Hispanic/Latino advocacy program on students in the targeted school. The participants for this study were selected using a census sampling method, of which 38 elected to participate in the study (n = 38). Twenty-six of the participants were members of the Hispanic/Latino advocacy program, while 12 were not members of the program. Cross-sectional design methods were employed in this study to analyze data with regard to the student questionnaire. In addition, interviews were conducted with a sampling of the study participants. The Hispanic/Latino advocacy program appeared to have a positive impact on the study participants based on their perceptions as noted in their responses on the questionnaire and during their interviews. The content analysis of the student interviews revealed several interesting findings as well. Both program participants and non-participants noted that the program was fun and enjoyable, or that it appeared fun and enjoyable. In addition, both program participants and non-participants mentioned the positive social aspects of the advocacy program.
