The plot of this thriller arose from the research the author undertook when planning a simulation about a terrorist attack on London. The more he researched, the more the author realised how easy it would be to plant a dirty bomb in a location where it would communicate a message, a message to the people of the Great Britain that they were no longer a world power. It also became obvious that despite intensive planning and preparation, the various organs of government would be faced with an almost insurmountable set of problems if such a bomb was detonated when traffic in London was gridlocked.This is not just another spy thriller about counter-terrorism; it is a wake-up call to all of us!
