ENTER THE DOOR OF PEACE to an enchanted meeting place led gently by the hand of one of today’s premier Sufi guides and teachers Shaykha Amat-un-Nur Naila Hayat Noon of the Inayati Order. Join her as she converses about Islamic Sufism, Tolerance, Social Responsibility, Nature, Friendship, Enlightenment, Humor, Feminism, Spirituality, Unity, Love, and World Peace. This collection of papers were presented at various symposiums around the world and in the author’s homeland. They represent years of dedication to the pursuit of truth and higher learning, by which we mean gnosis. Each one is like a shimmering pearl strung together on a chain of light that chain is the author’s spiritual lineage from which she draws her strength and inspiration. The reader may enjoy a sequential reading of the said papers, or may prefer hand-picking the pearl of his or her choice. One may also open this book and dive at random into its depths, seeing what comes up. It is hoped that this publication may do some good in harmonizing the Islamic and Western worldviews. The author is an observant Muslim, who has dedicated her life to the cause of propagating true Islam, the deen al-fitrah, or primordial religion, which makes her an envoy of peace and a voice of reason. Her words are an offering of spiritual insight perfumed by the mystical lineage of Pir-o-Murshid Hazrat Inayat Khan (1882-1927), ennobled by the sacred Tradition of Muhammad the Chosen (may a multitude of blessings be upon him), and inspired by the Noble Quran.
