Kitton (1856-1904) was an artist, wood engraver and author known for illustrating and editing several books relating to the works of Charles Dickens. He annotated the 1900 'Rochester' edition of Dickens's work. This book looks at the many buildings in locations throughout Britain in which Dickens lived, worked or visited, and their fictional counterparts in his novels. It was first published in 1905, the year following Kitton's untimely death and is reprinted from the second edition of 1911. Illustrated with photographs throughout. 3
