The Cowboy Priest and The Case of the Silver Spoon Written by Janie Doyle-Mansfield Murder where? A reluctant duo is formed when Detective Kevin O'Shaunessy and Father Timothy O'Shaunessy embark on a mystery to solve one of the biggest cases in Austin's history. The past five years, Father Tim, known as the 'Cowboy Priest' and his cousin Kevin have solved many crimes in Austin. This story is about their first case. This case will take its toll on a lot of people, especially Father Tim and Kevin. Austin like many other places has seen more crime than they would like to admit. The Mexican Drug Cartel just seems to be taking over. Even though the Cartel plays a part in this story, there seems to be a serial killer plaguing Father Tim's church. Kevin and Father Tim from one day to the next, don't know what to expect. Kevin, a somewhat non-believer, due too many tragedies in his personal life, comes to know God again with the help of Father Tim. This journey they have embarked on together will show you the dedication that Father Tim has to his family and his church. However bumpy this ride becomes, Father Tim is there and ready to find the answers, sometimes to the chagrin of his cousin Kevin, the Archbishop and the Captain of the Austin Police Department. On March 4, 2006, all hell was about to break loose. Kevin got a call from his partner to meet him at St. Michaels. Kevin rushed over there worried about Father Tim and thought the Cartel had done something again. When Kevin arrived, there was a dead body in the confessional. Yes, Murder where? Murder in the confessional! This would be the beginning of their first case. Moses, Kevin's partner was a natural profiler. Kevin was hoping this would help and solve the crime quicker. Father Tim was just beside himself and the nature of this crime and that someone could do this inside a church. Working with the Forensics Team, they found very little evidence.
