This diverse, comprehensive, and visually stimulating collection is a great resource for anyone who loves, uses, works with, and/or who can appreciate the subtle gradations and variations of colors. This unique reference book can, should, and will serve as an indispensable resource for academics, advertisers, architects, artists, beauticians, colorists, colormen, craftsmen, decorators, designers, entrepreneurs, fashionistas, illustrators, innovators, marketers, painters, scientists, students, and others.Enjoy access to a comprehensive, credible, trusted, and reliable lexical partner/guide to help in exploring the world of colors and words that pertain to colors. The Color Bible features a total distinct noun count of well over 500 colors that are organized alphabetically and presented in thirteen color theme chapters which include: Beige & Beigish, Black & Blackish, Blue & Bluish, Brown & Brownish, Gray & Grayish, Green & Greenish, Olive & Olivish, Orange & Orangish, Pink & Pinkish, Purple & Purplish, Red & Reddish, White & Whitish, and Yellow & Yellowish. Each color-theme chapter begins with a brief color summary which then segues into an abecedarian presentation of all the lexically verifiable words that fall into that specific color theme. The entries are then further delineated by parts of speech, as in nouns or adjectives, and then even further by hue, shade, or tint, as in being dull, pale, light; mild, medium, moderate; or dark, deep, strong. As an additional feature, most entries are assigned an exclusive six-digit alphanumeric hexadecimal code (hex code) which allows for precise color classification, comparison, confirmation, verification or reproduction on any virtual platform or elsewhere.
