The Chronicles of Wetherid II

The Chronicles of Wetherid II - Guardians of the Seven Artifacts (Volume 2) An epic fantasy saga of fractured realms and the struggle to prevent a demon’s return. In the volcanic depths of Raga Gur, Gorzod Grauwing prepares the way for the demon Xaroth. Around him gathers a brittle alliance of gray dwarves, ogres, undead, and mist elves. Each faction serves its own ambition. Mistrust spreads. The pact may collapse before Xaroth rises. In the DeShadin desert, Sheik Nam El Kabun confronts unrest. The displaced Kajirs press into Iseran after drought drives them from their homeland. Fear answers them. Skirmishes follow. A single betrayal threatens to ignite the southern realms. Within the Dark Forest, the laws of nature begin to shift. Druids record unnatural change. Wardens and rangers track a threat that advances without banners or drums. Astinhod stands on the brink. Duke Aldion and Lady Merdiva maneuver for dominance as defenses strain under the prospect of siege. Alliances turn fragile. Loyalty becomes a liability. Far to the north, frost elves enter a pact with Prince Sylvian and his mist elves. Old clan feuds stand in the way of unity. Time runs short to form a common front. At the center of these conflicts move Gorathdin and his companions. The remaining artifacts are the only counterweight to Xaroth’s ascension. Their path leads beneath the Kirbun Mountains into the tunnel systems of Ingar, where enemies prepare in silence. One misstep will end their cause. Guardians of the Seven Artifacts expands the conflict across Wetherid: political fracture, shifting allegiances, and a mounting supernatural threat converge. It continues The Chronicles of Wetherid II, driven by consequence, divided loyalties, and decisions that cannot be undone.
