When a child is ill, the care provided shifts from the family sphere to the medical and paramedical environment, impacting on the child’s mental health and requiring adaptation on the part of the parents. The relationship between nurse, child and parents is therefore essential for effective care. Our final-year project aims to evaluate nursing practices to improve the quality of care for hospitalized children.
