First published in 2006. From the Preface: THE BOOK OF CEREMONIAL MAGIC is by a distinguished author whom readers of books in the mystic arts have met before as the author of THE HOLY KABBALAH and THE PICTORIAL KEY To THE TAROT) among others. His present book first took the form of a work entitled THE BOOK OF BLACK MAGIC AND OF PACTS (London, 1898) and that first version has been reprinted many times in the United States, perhaps because of its somewhat sensational title. This book includes the key passages from the principal magical texts of the 14th, 15th and 16th centuries.
