The format for 'PSEUDO-KU' is based on a theme of 'USA First' in hopes of stimulating, in some small way, interest in patriotism in these troubled political times. This is emphasized with a field in red, white and blue plus the addition of a US flag and an American eagle emblem. The basic concept is to salute our 50 States, American industry, institutions, etc. and the people who have contributed to our developing nation since its inception. This book, representing the first commercial use of a USPTO TRADEMARK (Serial Number 88291822) salutes our 50 states. The numbers are input into the grid in a pattern intended to impose visually the 2-letter abbreviation for each State. In cases where this leaves too many open cells for a solution to be obtained in a reasonable amount of time, 'fill' numbers are inserted in smaller font size and contrasting color so as to not detract from the State’s abbreviation.
