A ideia de fazer o Saara florescer é uma tarefa ambiciosa e desafiante. O deserto do Sara é um dos ambientes mais agrestes da Terra, caracterizado por um calor extremo, recursos hídricos limitados e vastas extensões de terra árida. No entanto, têm sido apresentadas propostas e estão a ser desenvolvidos esforços para transformar o Saara numa região mais habitável e produtiva.Uma abordagem que tem sido sugerida é a implementação de projectos de energia renovável em grande escala, como parques solares, no Sara. Estes projectos poderiam não só gerar energia limpa, mas também criar oportunidades de emprego e estimular o desenvolvimento económico na região. Além disso, o excesso de calor gerado por estes parques solares poderia ser utilizado para dessalinizar a água do mar, proporcionando uma fonte de água muito necessária para a irrigação.Outra ideia é explorar técnicas agrícolas inovadoras que sejam adequadas a ambientes áridos. Utilizando sistemas de irrigação avançados e práticas eficientes de gestão da água, pode ser possível cultivar certas áreas do Sara e promover o crescimento da vegetação.
