Il Progetto Tecnico Ambientale: tra professione del futuro e visione sociale si è posto l’obiettivo di individuare e studiare le competenze del Tecnico Ambientale; recuperare le traiettorie delle problematiche ambientali e del professionista ambientale e il Corso di Tecnico Ambientale presso l’Etec Cônego José Bento; tracciare e analizzare il profilo degli studenti delle classi 2015 e 2016. A causa dell’opinione, radicata nella comunità scolastica, che gli studenti di questa zona 'abbracciano gli alberi', questo studio è stato intrapreso attraverso una ricerca storica e bibliografica, che è consistita nella raccolta e nell’analisi di dati provenienti dai giornali del comune di Jacareí e dell’Etec Cônego José Bento - fogli di calcolo, fotografie, piani dei corsi, archiviati presso il Centro di Memoria dell’Etec Cônego José Bento; interviste e questionari somministrati agli studenti delle classi 2015 e 2016 del Corso Tecnico Ambientale e del Corso Tecnico Superiore Integrato - Etim Meio Ambiente. L’analisi dei risultati ha indicato che la percezione pregiudizievole della comunità scolastica è dovuta, tra le altre ragioni, alla scarsa conoscenza del corso e della sua formazione.
