Ziel dieser Arbeit ist es, einen theoretischen Hinweis auf einige konventionelle und unkonventionelle Techniken für die Wartung von Lagern auf der Grundlage der Werkstoffkunde und der Maschinenelemente zu geben. Bei der Untersuchung dieser Werkstofftechniken wurde der Schwerpunkt auf die wichtigsten Prozessparameter gelegt, wie z. B. Schmierung, Ultraschall, Vibrationen, Signalverarbeitung, mechanische Eigenschaften und die Mikrostruktur von Gusseisen. Unter Berücksichtigung der ständigen Fortschritte bei der Anwendung in rotierenden Maschinen.
