Tafsir Ishraq Al-Ma`ani, Vol. VIII completes Syed Iqbal Zaheer’s multi-volume commentary with Sūrahs al-Mumtaḥanah through al-Nās, including the entirety of Juz 30.The volume begins with Madinan chapters containing substantial material on communal relations, covenant, justice, family law, divorce, household responsibility, and social discipline. The commentary on al-Mumtaḥanah distinguishes between hostile parties and those who did not fight or expel the believers, reproducing the Qur’ānic directive to deal well and justly with the latter.
