Suivant une tradition qui semble mondiale, les élections générales pakistanaises de 2013 ont fait l’objet d’accusations de fraude et de demandes de recomptage. Il est désormais évident que nous avons besoin d’un système électoral révisé, équitable et sécurisé. Le système de gestion en ligne basé sur le cloud (COEMS) a été développé en tenant compte des lacunes du processus électoral actuel. S’appuyant sur des recherches approfondies, les auteurs mettent en lumière le système qu’ils ont développé et le comparent à ceux utilisés aux États-Unis et en Inde, pays voisin. Alors que la nécessité d’un système compétent et équitable devient incontestable, le COEMS pourrait bien être la solution miracle que nous attendons.
