Questa relazione mostra l’applicazione passo dopo passo della metodologia Six Sigma DMAIC per eliminare i difetti nel processo di assemblaggio di una pompa VE di un’azienda automobilistica. Ciò ha contribuito a ridurre i difetti nel processo, migliorando la produttività e la puntualità delle consegne ai clienti. Durante le fasi di misurazione e analisi del progetto, sono stati raccolti dati dai processi per comprendere le prestazioni di base e per convalidare le cause. Questi dati sono stati osservati attraverso varie analisi grafiche e statistiche. L’elaborazione statistica dei dati ha rivelato che esiste una relazione tra il numero di difetti e il tempo totale di fermo macchina e che il 76,4% dei difetti è legato alle pratiche di manutenzione e ai problemi di usura. Questo può accadere se, ad esempio, produciamo sia ordini di lavoro che linee guida di tipo migliorativo durante l’implementazione delle fasi di miglioramento e controllo.
