Cet ouvrage parle de l’évaluation du système de surveillance des maladies épizootiques au Niger : cas de l’influenza aviaire. Les types de surveillance appliqués par le réseau de surveillance épidémiologique ainsi que la méthode d’évaluation développée par CDC basée sur l’analyse des attributs et en fin l’utilité du système de surveillance des maladies animales pour la santé publique. L’influenza aviaire est une maladie zoonotique et sous surveillance épidémiologiques au Niger. L’épisode de 2006 a entrainé l’abattage de 19 199 volailles avec un impact économique estimé à environ 20 251 344 CFA. Pour y faire face, le pays a adopté un plan national de prévention et de riposte. 16 foyers de l’IAHP ont été enregistrés en 2022 totalisant 98 520 mortalités. L’objectif de cette étude est d’évaluer le système de surveillance épidémiologique de la maladie dans la région de Maradi.
