It is shown that the evolved system of instinctive trance is the same mental state that produces non-instinctive trance, being either spontaneous or induced as in hypnosis or meditation. An in-depth study of telepathy, and the way it is related to biology, has revealed a likely explanation as to HOW and WHY we occasionally experience telepathy.
