Die vorliegende Untersuchung wurde durchgeführt, um die Pflanzenvielfalt auf dem Campus der KSKV Kachchh University in Bhuj - Kachchh im indischen Bundesstaat Gujarat zu untersuchen. Das Gebiet liegt in einer semiariden Klimazone und erhält daher nur geringe Niederschlagsmengen. Die Pflanzen- und Bodenproben wurden auf physikalisch-chemische und nährstoffbezogene Parameter untersucht. Die Blätter verschiedener Pflanzenarten, die auf dem Campus der KSKV Kachchh University wachsen, wurden hinsichtlich ihrer Mineralstoffzusammensetzung analysiert.
