Le piante medicinali sono considerate una fonte essenziale di materia prima per la scoperta di nuove molecole necessarie per lo sviluppo di rimedi futuri. Tra queste piante troviamo Urtica dioica (L.), Pelargonium graveolens, Taxus baccata (L.), Artemisia herba alba asso, Dysphania ambrosioids (L.) e Daucus carota (L.) ssp. carota che hanno diverse attività farmacologiche come effetti antibatterici, antiossidanti, analgesici, antinfiammatori, antivirali e antitumorali.Nel presente lavoro, ci siamo interessati alla valorizzazione di queste piante, raccolte nella regione di Meknes-Marocco, mediante diverse analisi quali: analisi termica e gravimetrica (ATD/ATG), gascromatografia accoppiata alla spettrometria di massa (GC/MS), nonché lo studio dell’inibizione della corrosione ecologica dell’acciaio in ambiente acido cloridrico 1M da parte di estratti acquosi ed etanolici per via gravimetrica, elettrochimica, cromatografia liquida ad alte prestazioni (HPLC) e microscopia elettronica a scansione (MEB/EDX), e dall’altro la valutazione delle loro attività antiossidanti con due metodi DPPH e CAT.
