Histologie und Histochemie der Monogenie P. multae (Chauhan, 1945), die häufig bei scombroiden Fischen vorkommt, wurden untersucht. Einige Aspekte der Mehlis-Drüse und der Ootypenkomplexe wurden untersucht. Adhäsions- und Fortpflanzungsbemühungen einiger Monogenia und Digenia wurden untersucht und verglichen. Es gibt jedoch mehrere Parameter zu berücksichtigen, wie z. B. die Dicke der Eischale, Viviparität oder Oviparität usw. Die volle Bedeutung dieser Parameter muss noch erforscht werden.
