La presente indagine, intitolata 'Studi genetici sulla produzione di semi e sui suoi attributi nell’ajwain(Trachyspermum ammi L.)', è stata condotta utilizzando quaranta genotipi diversi di ajwain ottenuti dalla stazione di ricerca sulle spezie da seme, SDAU, Jagudan e valutati in un disegno a blocchi randomizzati (RBD) con tre repliche presso l’azienda agricola di istruzione di Agronomia, Università Agraria Sardarkrushinagar Dantiwada, Dantiwada durante l’annata agraria 2019-20. Sarebbe ragionevole suggerire che un selezionatore impegnato nel miglioramento della resa di semi di ajwain per pianta dovrebbe porre l’accento sul numero di rami per pianta, sul numero di ombrelle per pianta, sul numero di ombrelle per ombrella e sul numero di semi per ombrella. La selezione per questi caratteri sarà direttamente utile per aumentare la resa in semi.
