A sociedade beduína é atualmente a população mais pobre e mais vulnerável de Israel. Todas as zonas beduínas reconhecidas estão incluídas no grupo socioeconómico mais baixo. Um dos problemas mais difíceis com que se depara a educação beduína no Negev é a falta de ensino-aprendizagem adequado e as deficientes infra-estruturas físicas do sistema educativo existente, sendo que o sistema educativo no sector beduíno se caracteriza por caraterísticas complexas e únicas. Nesta situação complexa, três factores principais influenciam a eficácia do ensino: O primeiro aspeto principal da gestão escolar é a liderança. Este aspeto representa o principal elemento que caracteriza o líder na sua tentativa de levar os outros a atingir um objetivo comum de grupo. O segundo fator importante é o stress. O stress no trabalho está ligado à excitação e ao desempenho. Baseia-se no princípio de que o stress deve ser estimulado de forma moderada e não excessiva. O terceiro fator principal é a satisfação do professor. Está relacionado com as motivações e o desempenho dos professores que influenciam a aprendizagem dos alunos. Este livro examina a gestão do stress pelos diretores e a sua influência na satisfação do pessoal escolar nas escolas beduínas de Israel.
