Na publicatie van een vijftal boeken over judo, specifiek gericht aan judoleraren richt de auteur zich nu op het gehele bestuur en technisch kader van de vereniging. Hij legt uit hoe u zelf een aantal belangrijke beleidsstukken vorm kunt geven. Doormiddel van voorbeelden en uitleg leert u zelf een beleidsplan, een meerjarenplan en een geperiodiseerd jaarplan op te stellen. Ook een leerplan voor bijvoorbeeld stagiaires komt aan de orde, net als een communicatieplan. Tezamen vormt dit een overkoepelend beleidsplan waarmee u de vereniging op de rails kunt krijgen en houden. De voorbeelden in dit boek zijn met name gericht op judoverenigingen maar zijn zonder veel moeite aan te passen voor elke type vereniging.
