Das Wachstum der städtischen Bevölkerung und die vielfältigen Formen, die die Städte annehmen, sind die interessantesten Phänomene der Raumgeographie. Diese Phänomene haben jedoch zu ökologischen, sozialen und wirtschaftlichen Ungleichgewichten geführt. Andererseits eröffnen Aktivitäten wie die urbane Landwirtschaft aufgrund ihrer Funktionalitäten und ihres Beitrags zur städtischen Dynamik in verschiedener Hinsicht eine neue Perspektive auf die Stadt. Vor diesem Hintergrund bestand das Ziel dieser Untersuchung darin, die Praktiken der städtischen Landwirtschaft in der Gemeinde Montes Claros - MG zu analysieren, die auf die Vermarktung ausgerichtet sind. Konkret ging es darum, die Produktionsstandorte für die Vermarktung der Urbanen Landwirtschaft (UA) in Montes Claros - MG zu kartieren, die Funktionen der UA in der Produktion und Vermarktung in Montes Claros - MG zu analysieren, die Engpässe und das Potenzial der UA in Montes Claros - MG zu ermitteln und einen Vorschlag zur Förderung und Unterstützung der UA in Montes Claros zu erarbeiten. Durch die Betrachtung dieser Praxis in der Stadt Montes Claros können wir eine (Wieder-)Herstellung des Ländlichen in der Stadt sehen, um Einkommensgenerierung, Wohlbefinden und Beiträge zur Umwelt und zur Konsumdynamik der Stadtbewohner zu gewährleisten.
