Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2007 im Fachbereich Philosophie - Philosophie der Antike, Note: 1,0, Friedrich-Schiller-Universität Jena (Institut für Philosophie), Veranstaltung: Antike Sprachphilosophie, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Nicht nur aufgrund eines historischen Interesses soll in der vorliegenden Seminararbeit der Versuch unternommen werden, die sprachphilosophische Programmatik bei Heraklit darzustellen. Vielmehr soll gezeigt werden, wie der bereits von seinen Zeitgenossen auch so genannte „der Dunkle' enorme Impulse für die spätere Entwicklung der abendländischen Sprachphilosophie gesetzt hat. Für dieses Vorhaben ist es zunächst notwendig, die enge Verknüpfung von Ontologie und Sprache im heraklitischen Denken zu demonstrieren. Darauf basierend soll gezeigt werden, welche Auffassung Heraklit zum Verhältnis von Name und Ding sowie der Richtigkeit der Wörter einnimmt. In diesem Kontext bietet es sich zugleich an, die Wirkung dieser sprachphilosophischen Ansichten auf später auftretende Perspektiven - insbesondere im Dialog Kratylos von Platon - zu untersuchen.
