Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2005 im Fachbereich Philosophie - Philosophie der Antike, Note: 2,0, Universität Leipzig, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Mir soll es in meiner Hausarbeit nicht um die Fragen „Was ist Rhetorik?' und „Welche Macht haben die Rhetoriker im Staate?' an sich gehen, sondern eher um die Art und Weise, wie sich Gorgias und Polos im Verlaufe ihrer Dialoge in Widersprüche verwickeln und wie diese durch Sokrates aufgedeckt werden. Auch hoffe ich beurteilen zu können, ob Sokrates einen Anteil daran hat, dass sich die besagten Personen in diese Ungereimtheiten ihrer Argumentationen verstricken. Außerdem werde ich versuchen eine Aussage darüber zu treffen, ob die Beweisführung des Sokrates noch Erfolg haben könnte, wenn die von Gorgias und Polos angesprochenen Fehler nicht begangen worden wären.
