This work examines the challenges faced by graduates of technical and vocational education and training in automobile mechanics in Burkina Faso, highlighting the obsolescence of educational materials, the absence of compulsory internships and an outdated training standard. These gaps lead to a lack of practical skills among graduates, making their professional integration difficult and increasing the unemployment rate among those with technical training. The study highlights the need to adapt the training system to market demands and to promote partnerships between the public and private sector to improve employment opportunities.
