Questo è il risultato di un’indagine condotta in un’Unità Sanitaria di Base della città di João Pessoa PB. Lo scopo della ricerca era quello di produrre dati per la stesura di un elaborato finale per la laurea in Archivologia presso l’Università Statale di Paraíba. L’esperienza acquisita dalla ricerca ha portato a un’organizzazione efficiente delle cartelle cliniche delle unità sanitarie familiari che compongono l’Unità Sanitaria di Base. Affrontando il tema dell’organizzazione dei documenti sulla base della teoria sistemica applicata agli archivi, si è riscontrato un cambiamento nella routine di ricerca delle informazioni, in modo tale da ridurre significativamente il tempo sprecato nella ricerca dei documenti e delle informazioni contenute nelle cartelle cliniche, migliorando la qualità della fornitura dei servizi.
