O Sistema de Gestão de Bancos de Sangue (BBMS) é um sistema baseado em navegador, concebido para armazenar, processar, recuperar e analisar informações relacionadas com a gestão administrativa e de inventário dentro de um banco de sangue. Este projeto visa manter todas as informações relativas aos dadores de sangue, os diferentes grupos sanguíneos disponíveis em cada banco de sangue e ajudá-los a gerir de uma forma mais eficaz. O objetivo é proporcionar transparência neste campo, tornar o processo de obtenção de sangue de um banco de sangue descomplicado e livre de corrupção e tornar o sistema de gestão do banco de sangue eficaz. O nosso cliente não está interessado no armazenamento de sangue, mas sim no armazenamento de informações sobre os dadores de sangue. Os dadores interessados em doar sangue têm de se registar na base de dados. Não há armazenamento de sangue, pelo que não há complicações no projeto. O software está totalmente integrado com soluções de CRM (gestão de relacionamento com o cliente) e CMS (sistema de gestão de conteúdo). Ele foi desenvolvido de forma a ser facilmente gerenciável, economizar tempo e aliviar o trabalho manual. A necessidade de sangue deve ser solicitada e nós fornecemos as informações do doador.
