Questa ricerca si riferisce a una simulazione dei costi dell’utilizzo di fonti energetiche alternative nell’industria ceramica per la produzione di mattoni. Lo studio ha cercato di effettuare una simulazione dei costi dell’utilizzo del gas naturale e della legna da ardere proveniente dalla riforestazione dell’acacia, al fine di individuare, dal punto di vista dei costi, l’alternativa energetica più interessante per l’imprenditore. A tal fine, sono state analizzate le fasi del processo di produzione dei mattoni, individuando i costi e le spese dirette e indirette e i costi e le spese variabili e fisse, che hanno poi permesso di effettuare un’analisi del livello ottimale di produzione utilizzando le due matrici energetiche.
