When aspiring writer Joanna Peterson-Mills and finance scion Logan Thurgood attend a dinner party one autumn night in New York, it’s a sidesplitting romp through their 'Not-so Meet Cute' under the Manhattan skyline as they navigate career and dating hijinks in the modern world. This laugh-out-loud romantic comedy, told from alternating perspectives, features a lovable cast of characters: Joanna, balancing her burgeoning writing, has big city dreams despite a creepy boss, and living in a cramped East Village walk-up, she shares with two eccentric roommates. Logan, on the other hand, is determined to break away from the labels of his wealthy Connecticut family and forge a name for himself on Wall Street. As Joanna and Logan’s paths keep crossing and their stories unfold, one question remains: Can these two get out of their own way and find their happy ending?Perfect for fans who love to curl up with a classic rom-com that balances real heart with sharp wit and disarmingly charming, if unreliable, narrators. So go ahead....ask Joanna and then ask Logan what happened that autumn night they first met in New York City. What she wrote might not be what he wrote...
